Wolvercote 2023

Some of the photos, videos and feedback from Wolvercote DG Melodeon Weekend 2023

Workshops were all great. Paul’s intermediate workshop was particularly good, gave me just the sort of info that I needed. The intermediate workshops were all pitched perfectly.
Finishing off with a group tune was a good way to avoid fading out at the end. Great teaching by Vicky.
Teaching was excellent! Everyone was lovely and friendly.
A very full agenda! Warm safe location. Thank you to all involved.
Very well organised. Range of tutors excellent. I worked with Vicky, and she was a brilliant tutor!
The tutors structure ie not having to choose between them, that was great. Also great car parking. The Church venue was a little uncomfortable to sit on the hard benches for the 3 hour concert.
Pews in church were uncomfortable – maybe suggest bringing a cushion or two to those attending.
Thank you – I have thoroughly enjoyed the weekend and look forward to the next one.
Great venue. Teaching rooms were a good size. All tutors great too. Lunch arrangements could have gone smoother.
Great location. Great facilities in the school and church. Thanks for sourcing oat milk at short notice!
The tutors were great. I especially liked Dave Grey whose delivery was so eccentric but memorable.
It has been a fantastic weekend. Especially liked coming together in the hall at the end.
Thanks to the team and everyone for organising such a great event.
Everything was brilliant! Thanks to all involved.
Thanks for a really useful weekend!
The range of players & tutors, the venue & organisation were great. Website & email – reliable information. Nice to see Acorn Instruments, and Lester B to fettle.
This was my first melodeon session workshop. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The pace of the improvers class suited me well.
Well organised. I feel I have made more progress in this weekend than I have on my own over the past few months, particularly on the base side.
Thanks for organising a brilliant event.
Excellent venue, Lovely concert venue, Hurrah for not having a showcase. Support services (Lester, teas etc) were faultless. Helena was excellent, encouraging and made it look effortless.
